I’m Yen Nguyen, a designer and artist based in Houston, Texas.

I studied media production at the University of Houston and later completed a UX Design bootcamp at DesignLab. Alongside formal training, my practice has grown through self-teaching, shaped by play, curiosity, and experimentation through both visual and interactive work.

My work blends UX, graphic design, and illustration, often exploring how culture, language, and personal narrative can influence visual systems and design decisions. I’m especially drawn to projects that have depth, usually in the food, hospitality, and creative spaces.

Currently, I’m focused on developing work that communicates well through story and visual design. My vision is to support women, creators, makers, and entrepreneurs with their visions and create experiences that encourage action and wander toward a more sustainable and collaborative present and future.
