I’m Yen Nguyen, a designer and artist based in Houston, Texas.
I studied media production at the University of Houston and later completed a UX Design bootcamp at DesignLab. Alongside formal training, my practice has grown through self-teaching — shaped by curiosity, experimentation, and a strong interest in storytelling through both visual and interactive work.
My work sits at the intersection of UX, graphic design, and illustration, often exploring how culture, language, and personal narrative can influence visual systems and design decisions. I’m especially drawn to projects that feel layered — where meaning can be found in both concept and craft.
Currently, I’m focused on developing work that blends thoughtful design with expressive storytelling, while continuing to explore new ways to translate ideas into visual and interactive experiences.
